Mortal Kombat X Officially Confirms Characters, Release Date
Mortal Kombat X will be released on April 14, 2015. Ed Boon, the NetherRealms president, tweeted last week about the 10th installment of the classic fighting treat which just said "Un-reveals?"
Clearly, the NetherRealms president meant that as early as now, he could begin spreading details like which fighters won't be included in the Mortal Kombat X anymore just to be able to calm fans and bring them out of the "waiting" misery, but he didn't do this. If he revealed it, he will just be giving favor to people who are figuring out how the whole "Mortal Kombat X" would appear and which characters are to be eliminated in the roster. Until today, numerous fighters aren't confirmed, still.
Enough of the unconfirmed; the confirmed characters according to the Digital Times, are: Goro (pre-order bonus), Kano, Cassie Cage, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Quan-Chi. The new fighters' list will include Kotal Kahn, Ferra & Torr, and D'Vorah.
Johny Cage and Sonya Blade haven't been confirmed formally yet, but Ed Boon has released a statement that there is a big possibility that they can make it to Mortal Kombat X. Freddy Krueger, a third-party fighter, might also make it to the stage, once again.
It would appear that Ed Boon is not against taking downtime from Mortal Kombat X development once in a while in order to have fun with doing photoshop. The co-creator of the series, also, tweeted a goofy version of the "Mortal Kombat X" fighters doing a work-out regimen inside the gym. Apparently the picture depicts a batch of fighters who are training for their big day in April.
Two of the characters featured in the picture, namely Liu Kang and Johnny Cage, have yet to be confirmed as official Mortal Kombat X members. The IGN has reported that character Scorpion will be present, too.
The picture, though comical in nature, looks like all of the contestants will have to renew their membership in the gym for another 6 months, or more. Mortal Kombat X is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2015 via Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
