More Details About Andrae Crouch's Death Revealed; Stars and Family Respond to the Legend's Passing

The cause of music legend Andraé Crouch's death has been revealed: he apparently died from complications following a heart attack on January 3rd. Andraé passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at approximately 4:30pm PST at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in the Los Angeles area. Andraé was 72 years old.
Sister Sandra Crouch laments: "Today my twin brother, womb-mate and best friend went home to be with the Lord. Please keep me, my family and our church family in your prayers. I tried to keep him here but God loved him best. Details of Andraé's Celebration Service and Tribute will be forthcoming."
Worship leader and one of the founders of Hillsong Worship Darlene Zschech pays her tribute: "Andre Crouch.. RIP. Treasured in our hearts forever, helped move worship music from performance to engagement, wrote some of the songs that have been the soundtrack to my spiritual life. Will be missed greatly xx D."
