Yancy Releases New Christmas EP Delivering Holiday Fun For The "Little Drummer Boy" In All Of Us

Kid-friendly Christian singer-songwriter Yancy has released her first new Christmas music in 7 years. Little Drummer Boy, her new 3-song EP, is quickly becoming a holiday favorite for all ages and is available now via Syntax Distribution at iTunes. Along with the driving title track, Yancy has crafted unique new recordings of the seasonal standard "Silent Night" and the contemporary classic "Emmanuel." Each song has been placed in a musical setting full of energy and drive, making it easy and fun for the entire family to sing along. From the song selections to the arrangements to the recordings themselves, Yancy has perfectly and effectively designed Little Drummer Boy to be used in multiple types of family and church ministry settings. As a supplement to Little Drummer Boy, Yancy has created church resource lyric videos that are available from Salem's Worship House Media family of brands. The new Christmas songs have already jumped into the Top 10 at WorshipHouseKids.com, with "Silent Night" at #1 last week. Widely respected as a leading children's worship expert, Yancy has a life history of working for and with local churches. She understands the needs and situations that local children's ministry leaders find themselves in on a weekly basis and she has a strong desire to help. In 2015, Yancy launched a new worship resource brand, Kidmin Worship, to develop an assortment of resource products for churches to use with elementary and preteen children. In Worship Leader's recent "Best of the Best Issue," Kidmin Worship Volumes 3 & 4 were recently named an Editor's Pick for Worship (Kids Category). "One of my greatest passions is providing resources to help a children's ministry worker help their kids become the worshippers God created them to be," says Yancy. "At Christmas or any time of year, I pray kids will clap, jump, sing, and lift their hands in worship and awe of the God we serve." Yancy will be performing Christmas shows from November 30th throughout December, taking her to Alabama, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Check www.YancyNotNancy.com for concert information.
