Kanye West Says He's Running for President in 2024

Hip hop artist Kanye West is not content that his new album Jesus is King is reigning on top of the Billboard's 200, Christian, Gospel and R&B album charts, he now wants to be the future US President. During his appearance at the Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York City on Thursday, West revived the speculation that he may seek the highest office in the land.
"When I run for president in 2024, we're going to definitely- yo whatchu all laughing at?" West reacted to the laughing crowd. "When I run for president in 2024, we would've created so many jobs that, in fact, I'm going to walk."
"What I'm saying is, when y'all read the headlines, 'Kanye's crazy,' this and that, this and that, it's like one in three African Americans are in jail and all of the celebrities are in jail also because they can't say nothing! They've got no opinion! They're so scared!"
West also said that he may legally change his name to "Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West," and he's come to the conclusion that "Rome was our original Silicon Valley."
West then added that "there are only four elements: earth, wind, fire and water ... therefore playing with your iPhone is the same as playing with dirt."
West joined shoe designer Steven Smith and Fast Company writer Mark Wilson at the event to talk about his fashion brand, Yeezy, and how it brings jobs to the United States - which according to West, will help him in his 2024 run for U.S. President.
