Krissy Nordhoff Teaches Us How to Write Heartfelt Worship Songs with New Book

Singer and songwriter Krissy Nordhoff will be offering invaluable advice to all songwriters on how to craft worship songs that are heartfelt and God-honoring. Partnering with David C. Cook, Nordhoff will release her debut book Writing Worship: How to Craft Heartfelt Songs for the Church which will be released on March, 1, 2020. Nordhoff is best known for writing songs such as "Your Great Name" (Natalie Grant), "Blessed Savior, Fount of Grace" (Darlene Zschech) and "You Cover Me" (Prestonwood Worship).
In Writing Worship: How to Craft Heartfelt Songs for the Church, the Christian songwriter will explore the depths of the heart, immersing in relationship with God before learning practical worship songwriting skills. Award-winning songwriter Krissy Nordhoff helps lyricists and musicians sharpen their skills in starting songs, adding dimension, removing distractions, maintaining momentum, and co-writing.
Songwriters and worship leaders are challenged to trust the Lord with their gifts as they put their new skills into practice. They also have access to:

Nordhoff is a professional songwriter and the co-founder of Brave Worship. She has been nominated for three Dove Awards and won Worship Song of the Year for "Your Great Name" (2012). Her songs have been recorded by artists including Natalie Grant, Mandisa, Darlene Zschech, Lauren Daigle, Dustin Smith, Aaron Shust, and Meredith Andrews.
