Lauren Daigle, Nick Hall, Benjamin Watson, Christine Caine & Others to Host Benefit Simulcast for Churches at Risk of Closing

Nick Hall, along with NFL star Benjamin Watson, speaker and author Christine Caine, Grammy Award-winner Lauren Daigle and others, will host Together: Churches Helping Churches, a benefit simulcast event to raise funds for churches at risk of closing due to COVID-19.
"During this Covid-19 pandemic, there are churches in the urban and immigrant communities that are at risk of not making it. These churches are the backbone of their communities. So we are rallying together to raise money and awareness to help our brothers and sisters in Christ," Nick Hall said.
The event will benefit the Churches Helping Churches campaign, an initiative to urge larger, more stable churches to assist at-risk churches in their own community. The campaign has raised more than $430,000 to help churches in need.
"This is a gospel issue, and it's an opportunity for kingdom reconciliation between churches in the suburban community and congregations in the inner cities and immigrant populations. When one part of the family hurts, we all hurt."
Together: Churches Helping Churces will be broadcast live on Friday, May 15 at 8 p.m. ET on www.TogetherGeneration.com/CHC, and will include performances by Daigle, TobyMac, Kirk Franklin, for KING & COUNTRY, Lecrae and Brandon Lake. Hall, Watson and Caine as well as AND Campaign president Justin Giboney, Focus on the Family president Jim Daly and several pastors and church leaders will deliver messages.
Churches Helping Churches grants are managed and administered by the National Christian Foundation, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to at-risk churches. More churches will be identified for grants based on the available funds that are raised.
Along with the AND Campaign, the Churches Helping Churches initiative is supported and organized by a collection of Christian groups and leaders, including Pinetops Foundation, Movement Day, National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Church of God in Christ (COGIC) denomination, Pinkston Group, National Latino Evangelical Coalition, Jude 3 Project and Pulse.
