Under the Dome Season 2: Will This New Season Reveal All The Secrets The Dome Holds
The new season started with a lot of dramatic events however it's getting frustrating trying to understand why this town was chosen to be under the dome. CBS did give it a second season. I guess people really liked it and even though I feel like the story is losing its meaning I can't help but wonder what this season will offer.
I think that it's about time we found out where the dome came from and why it behaves the way it does. I find it hard that since the series started no one has been able to tell where that dome came from and also why it chose to land on that town only.
Now season 2 continues with where season one ended with Barbie (Mike Vogel) having a noose around his neck after being sentenced to die for a murder he did not commit. Now the struggle on whether to kill him makes thing look awkward though am sure it was the writers plan in making sure that he does not die considering the fact that he is the enforcer when it comes to doing what the dome wants.
There seems to be some form of reaction from the dome when he is on the hanging deck and the town people feel that it is trying to stop them from killing him and that if they did go ahead with it they would be making it angrier and making matters worse. Now the most interesting part is that the dome seems to be have some form of magnetic attraction with houses closer to its wall being torn apart due to strong magnetic waves that pull every metallic object towards it.
Junior, Big Jim's son stops his father from killing Barbie and they go on the quest of finding out what is making the dome angry. That it when they realize that the magnetic waves are destroying everything near it and since Barbie has handcuffs on he is pulled towards the dome but is saved by the female police officer who in turn losses her life in the process.
Well seeing how people show up as ghosts after they die you can be sure that you will see most of the character who die come back later thanks to it's beyond the grave visitation no one stays dead.
Well we do hope that by the end of the season we will understand the mystery on why the giant dome fell on the small town of Chester's Mill and what its main purpose might be.
