Laura Story Teaches Us to Surrender to God with "Hello Unknown"

Grammy, Billboard and Dove Award winning singer-songwriter Laura Story, known for such hits as "Blessings," "Indescribable," and "Mighty to Save," is back with a brand new single and video entitled "Hello Unknown." You can view the lyric video below. The song speaks about the journey of faith, of what it means to let go of the control of our own lives and destines, and surrender to God's leading. The beauty of "Hello Unknown" is that it captures both the realism and the joy of what it means to surrender to God.
"When we surrender, we invite God into our story as our King, and we take our rightful place in his story as beloved children and heirs," says Laura. "That kind of surrender is the real secret to joy - joy that is never threatened by circumstances that change day to day. It leads to a life that is adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike, "What's next, Papa?" (Rom. 8:15-17 The Message). Who wouldn't release their attempts to control life's crazy twists and turns to live like a fearless, well-loved child, instead?"
The single is available now to download or stream.
I am letting go
Of everything I've known
Farewell predictable
No more playing it safe
I'll free fall into faith
I'll say goodbye control
Hello unknown
