Hillsong UNITED Returns to #1 with "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)"

Multi-award-winning and platinum-selling artist Hillsong UNITED's signature hit "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" returns to #1 on Bllboard's Christian Streaming chart this week on its 451th week on the chart. The song was first released on 23 August 2013 as the second and final single from their third studio album, Zion (2013).The song is led by Taya Smith, and was written by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston and Salomon Ligthelm, with production being handled by Michael Guy Chislett.
Previously, the song spent a record 61 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. In the year-end summaries, it was the chart's No. 1 song in 2014 and 2016, No. 2 in 2015, and No. 10 in 2017. Billboard ranked it as the No. 1 Christian song of the 2010s decade. The song was certified quadruple platinum in the United States.
On Oct 6,UNITED released, Zion (x), a special 10th anniversary album. To mark the album announcement, UNITED debuted four new versions of their iconic song "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)." "In 2013, we released the song `Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)' on our album 'Zion'. At the time we had no idea what we were stepping into and it marked a huge new season for UNITED," the band shared during the album announcement.
Zion (x) pulls together some unseen moments from the 'Zion' archives paired with a few new versions. UNITED added, "This album was created to celebrate what the songs have meant to us, and all that God has done and is continuing to do in and through them."
