Jason Gray Debuts “Sparrows Acoustic,” Launches “BETTER TOGETHER: The Live Recording Tour”

Acclaimed Centricity Music singer/songwriter Jason Gray releases "Sparrows Acoustic" today (Feb. 7) at streaming and digital outlets globally from https://jasongray.lnk.to/SparrowsAcoustic.
The re-imagined, acoustic performance of the award-winning track from his 2016 album, Where the Light Gets In, also inspired Gray's first children's hardcover book, Sparrows. The song and book address the theme of trusting God in the face of anxiety and worry.
"My song 'Sparrows' has had a special resonance. Every time I play it, it lights up the room," shares Gray. "All of us wrestle with anxiety on some level, and worry can make us old before our time. So I wanted to center the song around a childlike melody - the la la las - because I believe we can return to child-likeness when we put our cares in our Father's hands. I think that's why children of all ages, young and old, seem to resonate with this song.
"I love the liveliness of our original version!" continues Gray. "But I hope people find this acoustic version soothing. If the original was playful, I hope this one feels peaceful."
Taking "Sparrows Acoustic" along with his radio hits and fan favorites on tour, Gray launched his "BETTER TOGETHER: The Live Recording Tour" last week. The tour that is currently set to traverse 10 states and counting will feature Gray sharing acoustic performances filled with intimate and soul-stirring moments that highlight his profound lyrical artistry and heartfelt melodies. Stripped down to acoustic arrangements, his songs take on a raw and authentic quality, encouraging listeners to connect deeply with the themes of hope, redemption and grace that permeate his music. Gray's storytelling prowess shines through as he shares the personal stories and inspirations behind his songs, creating a captivating and uplifting atmosphere that resonates with audiences long after the performances end.
Well-known for his acoustic performances on Acoustic Storytime heard on SiriusXM The Message, Gray will celebrate his five-year anniversary of hosting the popular writers-round radio show on Feb. 14. Joining Gray for the special show will be award-winning artists Brandon Heath, Matt Maher and Big Daddy Weave's Mike Weaver. Heard on the second Friday of every month at noon ET, the highly rated program has featured performances by such genre-defining artists as Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, NEEDTOBREATHE, Katy Nichole, Tenth Avenue North, Tasha Layton, Marc Martel, Drew and Ellie Holcomb and numerous others.
