Newsboys Cancel Canadian Dates for 2025 Revival Nights Tour Following Lineup Change

The multi-platinum Christian band Newsboys has officially canceled the Canadian leg of their 2025 Worldwide Revival Nights Tour. This decision comes after the recent and unexpected departure of longtime lead vocalist Michael Tait earlier this year.
The band released the following statement:
"After much prayer, consideration, and in light of recent transitions within the band, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Canadian tour dates. We love our Canadian fans and are incredibly grateful for your continued support and understanding. We plan to return soon with an unforgettable experience."
Michael Tait, who served as the band's frontman for more than a decade, stepped away in January 2025, just days before the tour's opening dates. In response, the Newsboys welcomed Adam Agee as their new lead vocalist. Despite the changes, the group has committed to moving forward with renewed passion and vision.
While the Canadian dates have been canceled, Newsboys will continue their U.S. and European tour stops as scheduled. Fans are encouraged to visit the official website for the most up-to-date tour information: www.newsboys.com/tour
The band is also excited to announce the upcoming release of their newly reimagined single, "How Many Times (Oh How You Love Me)," available everywhere on March 14, 2025. The song reflects the group's continued heart for worship and their desire to bring messages of hope and revival to audiences worldwide.
For ticket holders of the canceled Canadian shows, please contact your original point of purchase for refund details.
