Jamie MacDonald Returns with Joyful Redemption Anthem “Left It in the River”

Contemporary Christian pop artist Jamie MacDonald releases her vibrant new single "Left It in the River," now streaming globally. The song celebrates leaving the past behind and stepping into the freedom found in Christ, pairing MacDonald's soulful vocals with a message of hope and renewal.
MacDonald shares, "Release week is here! This track energises me with the simplicity of the gospel message and the joy it brings. After a challenging season, I'm stirred with fresh hope. I'm overwhelmed by your response to Left It in the River-thank you all. Bringing new music to the world truly fills my heart."
The single premiered as a K-LOVE First on July 18, accompanied by an exclusive live studio performance that quickly captured listeners' hearts. Co-written with Colby Wedgeworth and Jonathan Gamble, the track follows the success of her debut hit "Desperate," which climbed to #10 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs, reached #3 on Christian Airplay, and topped the Christian Adult Contemporary chart. The song also earned nominations for Song of the Year and Breakout Single of the Year at the 2025 K-LOVE Fan Awards.
Signed to Capitol Christian Music Group in late 2024, Jamie MacDonald quickly became one of Christian music's most promising new voices. Known for her authentic storytelling and dynamic sound, she first gained attention with her debut single "A Million Chances" before breaking through with "Desperate" in early 2025. Her music blends modern pop with worshipful sincerity, connecting deeply with audiences through themes of redemption and grace. In addition to her chart success, MacDonald is set to join Benjamin Hastings on his 'At the Heart of It' tour this November, further cementing her place as an artist to watch.
