Jonathan Ogden Releases Introspective New Single “Dragonfly / Safe” Ahead of Upcoming Album NIGHT

Acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer Jonathan Ogden has released his highly anticipated new single "Dragonfly / Safe," offering listeners a poignant journey through vulnerability, hope, and spiritual reflection. Known for his evocative work as the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of Rivers & Robots, Ogden has since forged a distinctive solo path, blending worship, folk, and electronic soundscapes into a uniquely immersive musical experience.
The dual-themed single opens with "Dragonfly," a contemplative track reflecting on the fleeting nature of life and relationships. Ogden's delicate instrumentation and emotive vocals create a serene, reflective atmosphere, inviting listeners to embrace the beauty found in transience. The follow-up, "Safe," features the soulful vocals of Praise Lubangu, delivering a comforting message of peace and refuge in God's presence. Together, the tracks highlight Ogden's signature ability to combine introspective lyricism with cinematic production.
"'Dragonfly / Safe' is about recognizing life's fragility while finding grounding in faith and God's presence," says Ogden. "It's my hope that these songs offer listeners both reflection and reassurance in the midst of life's challenges."
These tracks are the first glimpse of Ogden's forthcoming album, NIGHT, set for release on September 12, 2025. The album promises to explore themes of healing, identity, and divine presence, continuing Ogden's journey of creating music that is both emotionally resonant and spiritually uplifting.
