Javen, To Release New Live Album, 'Worship In The Now' On May 21 [Watch Video]
Javen, award-winning Gospel artists, will release his new live album entitled, 'Worship in the Now,' on May 21.
Javen was been signed by Tyscot Music + Entertainment and has gained international recognition in the last ten years as both a recording artist and an actor, according to CM Spin.
"Praise and Worship music is one of the cornerstones of adoring and honoring our God, a joyful celebration of congregational singing. We signed Javen as we truly believe it's his time to help the nation & the world, Worship In The Now!" said Bryant S. Scott, President of Tyscot.
The new album features guest appearances by Damita, Marvin Winans, Jr., The Campbell Family, LaRue Howard and Jonathan Nelson, CM Spin reports. Nelson, a Stellar Award winner, also produced the new album, according to the Javen website. The new album will be a 16-song praise and worship CD that features some classic worship songs such as 'Majesty,' by Jack Hayford and 'Hosanna,' by Hilsongs, as well as some fresh new pieces.
"I'm excited about 'Worship in the Now' and what it means to those who are experiencing it," said Javen. "I know as people begin to include worship more and more in their everyday lives, everything from depression to poverty, even sickness will begin to be removed from their lives. It's my belief that this new CD will be a hit across the country with this Now Generation of Worshipers, who are people that want to get closer to God's presence."
Javen has recently launched the 'Worship in the Now' series, a two-day seminar on music, worship, songwriting, life lessons and more, according to the Javenwebsite. "Through his message of both love and hope, Javen desires to see lives changed wherever he goes," the website states.
Beyond his new album and his involvement in music, Javen has several new projects on the way that include everything from film to books, according to his website. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Javen is also a spokesperson for 'World Vision,' a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide in order to tackle the causes of poverty and injustice. He is also a consistent donor and supporter of 'Hope for Haiti' and participates in several domestic mission programs that deal with homelessness, hunger, and poverty in the Los Angeles, California area.
