Multi-GRANMY® Award-winning artist Natalie Grant has shared a heartfelt reflection on the current leg of her tour, opening up about unexpected challenges, deep gratitude, and God's sustaining faithfulness through it all.
Grant revealed that early in the tour she was required to enter complete vocal rest, forcing her to miss several shows-an unprecedented experience in the 10-year history of this tour. While the setback was difficult, she testified to God's steady presence in every step of the journey.
She expressed special appreciation for her longtime friend and touring partner Danny Gokey, who stepped in to carry two full shows on his own, even performing some of Grant's songs in her original keys. "Still wild," Grant shared, adding lightheartedly that Gokey managed the feat despite sporting two black eyes-a moment fans quickly recognized with humor and affection.
Grant also highlighted the strength she has drawn from her community of faith, thanking those who have surrounded her with prayer, encouragement, and strength, describing them as people who truly "held up my arms." Leaning on wise counsel and trusting what she called "the Great Physician," Grant says she continues to be reminded night after night that God's strength remains unwavering.
Looking ahead, Grant noted that the next seven days will be especially significant and filled with "very exciting things" she looks forward to sharing soon. She asked fans for continued prayer, that God would keep empowering her to walk faithfully in her calling.
"Walking forward strong, grateful, and full of peace," Grant concluded. "God is faithful-always." Quoting the beloved line from O Holy Night, she added, "A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices."
Through vulnerability and unwavering faith, Natalie Grant's message stands as a testimony of perseverance, community, and trust in God's sustaining grace-even when the journey unfolds differently than expected.
