Game Of Thrones Season 5 Premiere And Cast News: The Game Of Thrones Family Lose One Of Their Members, J.J Murphy, Who Died At Age 86
We have the latest news for you on the premiere and cast news of Game of Thrones season 5. For the fans of Game of Thrones, this is a big blow. J.J. Murphy died on Friday August 8th at the age of 86. This is very sad as he passed away only 4 days after the filming of the highly anticipated season 5 of the Game of Thrones which is aired in HBO had commenced.
Murphy's agent spoke to E! News and said, "I am heartbroken to pass on the news that the wonderful J.J. Murphy passed away this morning, August 8, 2014. I had the pleasure and honor to be his agent for the last 18 months and have never encountered a man with more spirit, passion and love for his craft. At this time, our thoughts are with his family."
The death of the Irish actor was first reported by the Belfast Telegraph. His character was meant to make a debut on George R.R. Martin's series, as Murphy played as Ser Denys Mallister, a knight of House Mallister and a member of night's watch, at the end of last month. Mallister had commanded the shadow Tower for 33 years and he was the leading candidate to become the next Lord Commander. D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, the executive producers of the 'Game of Thrones', took to the movie's twitter account on Monday to announce that the role of Murphy would not be recast in the forthcoming season. They posted in the official twitter account that, "We will not be recasting J.J. Murphy. He was a lovely man, and the best Denys Mallister we could have hoped for. And now his watch is ended."
According to The Daily Beast, in the series "Game of Thrones" cast Sean Bean will be playing Martin Odum, who is described as an undercover agent who is one of the members of the FBI's Deep Cover Operations Division. This title refers to the bureau's lingo which in a simple way means "Fabricated identity."
The "Game of Thrones" will be using almost all new directors for the season 5 of the show. This is as reported by TIME. This leaves many fans wondering whether the show will premiere in time. The show is rumored to have an April 2015 release date and will be aired by HBO.
