House of Cards Season 3 Release Date, Reveals, Spoilers and Rumors: What is Franks Next Move as Potus
The past two years have been mighty good years for Netflix with them picking amazing shows like Orange Is The New Black and Arrested Development. The show I am sure makes them giggle with glee at its sheer brilliance is House Of Cards. The show which one would expect to show on HBO with all its ruthlessness and political theme premiered on February 1st, 2013 and in its first season managed an outstanding nine Emmy nominations going on to become the first online-only web series to do so. On February 4th 2014 three days after the season two release Netflix announced that House Of Cards had been renewed for a third season coming out in February 2015.
Considering how season 2 ended, season 3 is a long way away. Frank Underwood, after being shafted by the president who promised him the post of Secretary of State and 'asks' him to stay as Chief whip, becomes quite peeved. In season one and two Frank manages to put himself in positions that are exceedingly powerful with the help of his wife who despite having a British photographer as her lover remains Frank's number one fan. That is not to say that Frank is the saint as he takes on a lover whom he later disposes by way of a train and there's an interesting episode where the couple seduces their bodyguard. Anyway, where was I? Right, Frank moves up and up on the shoulders and heads of other people and season 2 ends with him installed as Potus.
Major questions coming with season three are who shall he appoint as Vice President? Considering he can trust nobody in Washington. Now that he has what he wants, what more can Frank aspire to? He is now officially the most powerful man in the world but he has skeletons? Will his skeletons stay hidden? Or will they come flying out of the white house closets? Kevin Spacey has found his niche as Frank Underwood (whose initials are the pun of the day). His Southern accent and his engaging manner make the viewer feel like we are his little black book of big bad secrets! As 2015 draws near with its numerous Marvel projects a whole lot of people will be looking forward to February when Netflix will release all 13 episodes of House Of Cards.
