Beetlejuice 2 Cast, Trailer, Release Date, Spoilers And Latest Updates: Producer of Dark Knight, Seth Grahame-Smith, Is Reportedly Working On A New Script For 'Beetlejuice 2'
We have the latest news for you on the release date, spoilers and latest updates of Beetlejuice 2. There have been rumours circulating around that there would be a sequel to the old acclaimed comedy fantasy film 'Beetlejuice' which was filmed back in 1988. Initially, directed by Tim Burton, the rumours of the movie sequel have continued to circulate but nothing has actualized for over two years. Now things are starting to take shape and soon we might be seeing the sequel to the movie.
It has been reported by screenrant.com that the producer of Dark Knight, Seth Grahame-Smith, has been working on a new script for the 'Beetlejuice 2'. It has also been discovered that the original director, Tim Burton has entered into preliminary talks with Seth Grahame to direct the sequel although he did mention that the talks were only preliminary.
Also Michael Keaton who played Beetlejuice in the original Beetlejuice movie has been talking with Tim Burton to see if he can once again star in his original role as Beetlejuice in the sequel. He did admit that if there is one thing he would want to do again, if at all there is anything that he would want to do again, it would be to star as Beetlejuice in the Sequel. Clearly he loved his role and we will be hoping to see him in the sequel soon.
If everything that is being discussed materializes then the premiere of the sequel isn't too far off. Another actor who has shown great interest in wanting to feature in the sequel is Winona Ryder who played as the Teenage Goth, Lydia Deetz. He has however, received a lot of warning from people who were against the movie's sequel being produced. However, Winona Ryder doesn't seem to care what they think. She has admitted that she in love with that role more so because she views it as the role that gave her a career in acting. She would also be a great addition to the movie cast and she was keen to admit that she would love to know what was going on with Lydia after 27 years.
So far there has been no mention of a date of release but we do look forward to seeing how things will turn out in the hope that the long awaited sequel will finally hit the screens.
