Reba McEntire Releases Her Moving New Song "Pray for Peace;" Watch Her Video Here

Reba McEntire surprised many fans when she recently released a brand new song via her website and facebook entitled "Pray for Peace." This song is not only written by the country superstar herself, it is one of her most heartfelt songs that is so appropriate for our current times. "Pray for Peace" is her first release since her 2010 "All the Women I Am" disc which featured the smash hits "Turn On the Radio," "If I Were a Boy," and "When Love Gets a Hold on You."
"The idea to write this song came to me last year as I was walking on our place in Gallatin, Tn.," McEntire wrote on Facebook. "For days, I'd sing 'Pray for Peace' over and over....I feel this song is a gift from God. I have never worked on a song as long as this one." Both the song and the video for "Pray For Peace" are available for free download at McEntire's website, www.Reba.com.
After the video's release, artists including Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman, Amy Grant, The Band Perry and Melissa Peterman as well as the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry all posted their own "Pray for Peace" videos in support of Reba's message.
McEntire will return to the stage on Aug. 15 as part of the Johnny Cash Music Festival at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark.
