Fantastic Four - New Version: Updates, Plots and New Casts
The new version of the Fantastic Four is set to be released on June 19, 2015. This upcoming Fantastic Four is intended to be a reboot of the franchise.
Fantastic Four Reboot Movie
Simon Kinberg is the producer and co-writer of this new Fantastic Four film. According to Kinberg, "This Fantastic Four is a sort of celebration of all the Fantastic Four comics that have preceded it. We have elements from the original Fantastic Four that there's a sort of optimism and inspirational quality to the film. In some ways a comedy that really was distinct in the original Fantastic Four."
As of now, no Fantastic Four preview or synopsis has been released by the producers. However, the movie is said to be partly based on the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic books.
Fantastic Four Cast
The upcoming Fantastic Four movie will feature a new cast to play the roles.
Reed Richards a.k.a Mr. Fantastic - Miles Teller has accepted the role. He said, "When I read the script, I didn't feel like I was reading this larger than life, incredible superhero tale."
Susan Storm a.k.a Invisible Woman - Kate Mara said she is determined "to focus on making her character as real as possible."
Johnny Storm a.k.a Human Torch - Michael B. Jordan has this to say about his role, "We're more or less a bunch of kids that had an accident and we have disabilities now that we have to cope with and try to find a life afterwards - try to be as normal as we can." Jordan is incidentally an African-American.
Ben Grimm a.k.a The Thing will be played Jaime Bell. The movie's villain role- Doctor Victor Von Doom will be played by Tony Kebbel. Fantastic Four mentor Doctor Franklin Storm will be played by Reg E. Cathey. Harvey Elder a.k.a the Mole Man will be played by Tim Blake Nelson.
