Frozen 2 Latest News: Short Spin-Off Film Will Premiere Spring of 2015; Plus Frozen Sing-a-Long DVD slated for release this November

Can't get enough of Anna and Elsa? Well, trust me, it's not just you who's craving for a Frozen sequel out there. And yes, Walt Disney heard our cries. The Frozen 2013 film did not just receive success in the box office but also positive reviews from movie critics. With that in mind, Walt Disney recently announced that there is going to be a short Frozen 2 film.

Frozen Fever isn't really a direct sequel but instead, a short spin-off by Disney. The company first announced and confirmed the short animation sequel last January 2014 making fans anticipate further.

Frozen 2 Spoiler alert! Disney also announced the synopsis of the upcoming Frozen 2. "In 'Frozen Fever', it's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just a party at risk". Perhaps we see the big picture here?

Aside from the second animation itself, it will also feature new original songs by the same composers, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who penned the hit song 'Let It Go'. Frozen 2 cast would still include Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel and we are just awaiting for their confirmation to reprise their beloved roles for the sequel.

Although there's a short sequel, Disney made it clear that they have yet planned for a future installment of the film despite becoming a massive hit and nailing the Frozen Let It Go phenomena.

A sing-along Frozen DVD will be released this November and the Frozen Fever will premiere this upcoming Spring of 2015.
