The Huntsman Movie Release Date, Reveals, Rumors and Reviews: MGM and Legendary Pictures to Release Huntsman Standalone Movie in April 2016

Come April 22^nd 2016 we shall all have an excuse to go to the theatres again. The Huntsman is finally getting a movie of his own. If you watched Snow White and the Huntsman then you know of whom I speak. Looking at the almost 400 million dollars they made off the movie, the several nominations and the six awards they won Universal decided to let in and make a prequel. There were a lot of rumors surrounding the making of the movie including rumblings that it had been shelved until July 2014 when Universal confirmed that they were still very much in the SnowWhite business.

We all like a good reboot and stories compiled by the Grimm brothers have been told and retold a million times over. It is shocking that Disney did not take this opportunity to do the reboot but we are sure that they will take a stab at it in the near future. The plot for the movie is not yet out but considering it's a prequel and it is titled The Huntsman we can make an educated guess that it's a movie about the character played by Chris Hemsworth. Maybe we will get to see him and his wife and how he died, no doubt somehow at the hands of the evil queen. Maybe we will get to see young snow white, happier days when her father was alive and she wasn't locked away in a tower. We also hope to see how the evil queen became evil; she wasn't born that way, was she? So many storylines to explore so little time.

Frank Darabont is set to direct and write the flick. Darabont is known to be the man who adapts Stephen King books for the screen and worked on the first two seasons of The Walking Dead. Hemsworth and Theron are set to return as well. Hemsworth has a few busy years ahead of him with Thor 3 and 2 more Avengers movies coming along.
