'Chasing Life' Spoilers: When Life Becomes Unfair, You Chase for a Better Life

Chasing Life is the newest American Television Drama that was recently premiered last June 10, 2014 on ABC Family channel. The series is said to be adapted from the Spanish-Mexican Television drama Terminales. Chasing Life is all about a 24-year old girl named April, who is a smart, witty and hardworking aspiring journalist that works at a Boston newspaper that later on diagnosed with leukaemia.

April, when not pursuing scoops and things to write tries to balance everything with her family and personal life. As she is welcoming the goodness of life with family, work and love life, everything then fell apart when she had known that she has a life ending disease, cancer.

April's cancer continues to intensify and started affecting her in all possible ways it can. Sara, her mother didn't know yet April's state and become very amused and curious regarding April's secretive behaviour. As April started to lose her appetite, her mother has become very protective of her as if knowing her daughter's current condition.

Later on, April has started seeking a doctor's opinions and looking at starting her chemotherapy, the whole office found out about her case and the news has started spreading uncontrollably. As the news went on, Sara finally knew about April's condition. Devastated about her daughter's case, Sara spends days with a group of other parents of cancer patients for help.

As April geared on with her chemotherapy, her struggle begins. She is definitely having a hard time with her current situation. Dominic, her boyfriend and a fellow journalist arrived after an out-of-town work later breaks up with her after he sees her with another guy named Leo. Leo is April's friend and has a cancer, as well. She would see Leo and understood current situations being cancer patients.

April's mom Sara later on confessed with George interest in pursuing her; feelings have developed when Sara began joining the group of cancer patients' parents.

The Season 1 still continues and on its 11^th episode that happens to have April wonder what will happen to Leo right after he received a voicemail from Dominic and seeing his parents in the hospital.
