Gone Girl Release Date and Casts: Innocence Might Not Be There Anymore, She's already Gone Girl Watch Out for 2016
Gone Girl is a mystery thriller novel written by an American writer Gillian Flyyn and was published in June 2012. After being published, it soon made to the New York Times Best Seller list. The film adaptation of the film was directed by David Fincher and was premiered last September 26, 2014 at the 52nd New York Film Festival and has officially opened on October 3, 2016 in the United States.
Gone Girl has a powerful cast that gave justice to the mystery thriller plot of the movie. Ben Affleck will be playing the lead role as Nick Dunne, the husband of Amy, who would played by Rosamund Pike; along with the stars Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry.
The plot will revolve around Amy's disappearance, which drove the media to an intense frenzy over the incident. Nick was considered the main suspect of his wife's vanishing. Nick has been labelled by the media as a sociopath, implicating him for an apparent murder of his wife. The case against Nick was made stronger because his unemployment status. In fact, both her and Amy lost their jobs during the recession, making Nick lazy, distant and unfaithful to Amy. Amy's pregnancy also made the case against Nick stronger. The investigator, Detective Rhonda Boney, played by Kim Dickens uncovered evidences indicating that there are some financial troubles that the couple faced with during times they have been laid off from work and a lot of domestic disputes. Amy even purchased a gun to protect herself from Nick.
Along the way, Amy has been reported to be alive and the whole thing was just a frame-up to revenge Nick for his infidelity and violence against her. An angry and vengeful Amy undertook all the strength she could get to finally end Nick's life to successfully avenge him with all his wrong doing. While those who read the book knows this plot inside out, watching the events and twists come alive in the big screen is a whole different experience.
Ben Affleck is considered to be the top choice for the role and news were circulating that he could give justice to whatever the plot will take. The crew began filming last September 11, 2013 and was filmed in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and in Los Angeles, California.
