Tamar Braxton Divorce: Prayers, Words of Support Offered by Former Friends, "The Real" Co-Hosts

After exiting “The Real,” talk show host Tamar Braxton received prayers and support from her former co-hosts and friends amid news confirming her divorce filing.
The Grammy nominee’s representatives confirmed her divorce her music executive husband, Vincent Herbert, to whom she was married for almost nine years.
"At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert. Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important," they said to PEOPLE in an official statement. "We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone's love and prayers."
Braxton had been fired from “The Real” last year and she expressed less-than-agreeable sentiments. However, her former co-hosts and friends Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adrienne Houghton devoted a portion of their Girl Talk segment to the news centered on Braxton this week. According to Love, while their separation from the singer-actress was not done in the best of terms, they want to let her know that her former pals have good intentions and wishes for her.
"Tamar, I know that we've been through a lot on this show and I understand that but you know what? We truly wish you the best and we hope that you get through this," Love said.
With Mai also filing for divorce from her husband of 10 years, Freddie Harteis, she also offered her prayers for Braxton as an individual who shares similar difficulties.
"When I heard this news my heart really broke because I can only imagine what you guys are going through. For me I know that having love and support from solid friends and family means the world and it helps," Mai said. "So we really pray that you have that."
This week, a clip released for Braxton and Herbert's series, "Tamar & Vince," may have suggested their marital struggles with the singer taking away her wedding ring. “Tamar and Vince” season 5 is set to premiere on Nov. 9 at 9 p.m. ET on WE TV.
