Josiah Queen Tops Billboard’s Top Christian Albums Chart with "Mt. Zion"

Florida-born singer-songwriter Josiah Queen has claimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart for the second time, debuting atop the Sept. 6-dated survey with his latest release, Mt. Zion.
In its first week (Aug. 22-28), Mt. Zion earned 15,000 equivalent album units in the U.S., including 6,000 in album sales, according to Luminate. This marks Queen's first album release on an established label-F&L Music Group and Capitol Christian Music Group-following his independently released debut, The Prodigal, which also topped the chart in June 2024 and has remained in the Top 20 for 66 weeks, including all but four weeks in the Top 10.
Mt. Zion also debuts at No. 57 on the all-genre Billboard 200, while charting at No. 4 on Americana/Folk Albums and No. 12 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums.
Eight of the album's 12 tracks appear on the Hot Christian Songs chart. Leading the pack, "Dusty Bibles" returns to its No. 3 peak with 4.2 million official U.S. streams, 1.4 million radio audience impressions, and 1,000 copies sold. The Brandon Lake collaboration "Can't Steal My Joy" achieves a new career-high at No. 7, with 4.1 million radio impressions and 2.2 million streams.
On Christian Airplay, "Can't Steal My Joy" holds at its No. 9 peak, marking Queen's first Top 10 on the chart, while "Dusty Bibles" rises to No. 25. Queen's highest-charting debut on Hot Christian Songs is "Watch Your Mouth," landing at No. 17 with 1.5 million streams.
With Mt. Zion, Josiah Queen solidifies his position as one of contemporary Christian music's rising stars, blending heartfelt lyrics and dynamic collaborations that continue to resonate with audiences nationwide.
