Imagine Dragons new song "Warriors" became a part of the League of Legends video game; Plus new updates on their forthcoming album
Instead of focusing full-time on their forthcoming album, the four-member Imagine Dragons band took some time to record a song for the famous 'League of Legends' video game which of course, they say, is also a favorite of theirs, in collaboration with Riot Games.
"As a child you would wait and watch from far away" The band's front-man, Dan Reynolds, sings this first part of the lyrics in the anthem-like melody of the song. 'Warriors', though not being a part of any of their album, also comes with a music video which is filled with exciting animations from the game that actually fits the Imagine Dragons lyrics "We are the warriors that built this town". In a gamers' point-of-view, it's exactly the way it is.
This isn't the first time Imagine Dragons have recorded a song for a game actually, as some avid gamers knows, they also recorded the song "Monster" for the 'Infinity Blade 3' game soundtrack. Both songs have lately been available for free download on the game's website.
After the success of their 2012 album 'Night Visions' which received much success from fans with the singles "On top of the world", "Radioactive" and "Demons", the band followed it with their second live album "Night Visions Live". In the next following years, Imagine Dragons will come back with new exciting songs, for sure, as they continue to work on their craft.
Curious how the new song sounds like? The song can now be heard from the Imagine Dragons Youtube VEVO page.
