Hannibal Season 3 News and Updates: Mason Verger Is Back to Haunt Hannibal!

Hannibal Season 3 is right on track with new spoilers this upcoming season. Though fans have to wait for quite a few more months, it is definitely worth the wait as the creators and producers are eyeing on a more thrilling concept.

First off is the Hannibal Season 3 villain, we read, according to TV Line via IBT, that Mason Verger, heir to the Verger Meat Packing Dynasty, will reprise his role this coming season. Verger will be played by Michael Pitt. He had Hannibal hanged from a rope to be eaten by pigs in three episodes from Hannibal Season 2. Apparently, Hannibal was rescued by Will, and as a revenge Hannibal forced Verger to eat his own flesh. Talk about gross!

In Hannibal Season 3, fans will see a disfigured Verger. Pitt played Jimmy in the highly acclaimed Boardwalk Empire.

On top of this, casting calls are being made for the part of Verger's personal doctor, Cordell. Cordell is described as a "quiet, very intelligent and definitely creepy" doctor, who might become Verger's right hand man as his boss returns as one of the biggest villains who will play a bigger role.

The Hannibal novel had Verger as the main antagonist and it wouldn't be a surprise to fans of the novel if he came back.

When the Hannibal Season 3 premieres, Hannibal is under a disguised identity in Florence while Will locates him.
