Half-Life 3 Update: Latest News Reports Half-Life 3 Concept Art Pieces, Gabe Newell Interview Hints Half-Life 3 Game Development

So far, Half-Life 3 has only been a rumored game. Speculations and rumors about the game has been around too long that the game fans are getting exhausted. Yet, it's recently reported that there's a leak of new information that almost seems like a confirmation of the game.

The latest news is that someone witnessed a number of concept art pieces of the rumored upcoming Half-Life 3, along with other pieces for the upcoming "Left 4 Dead 3" game.

The said witness is Minh Lee, a former employee at Valve. Venture Capital Post reported the said latest news. Several sources are debating regarding the claim, stating that the supposed latest art may just be one of the first ones from the years back.

Yet there's another hope. In an interview with Washington Post, Valve founder Gabe Newell shared what seems like a hint of Half-Life 3 development:

"When we started out we were a single-player video game company that could have been really successful just doing Half-Life sequel after Half-Life sequel, but we collectively said let's try to make multiplayer games even though there's never been a commercial successful multiplayer game."

"Then we tried to do Steam. There were a bunch of people internally who thought Steam was a really bad idea, but what they didn't think was that they would tell the people who were working on Steam what to do with their time. They were like "that's what you want to do with your time, that's fine, but we're going to spend our time working on Half-Life 2. We think you're kind of wasting your time, but it's your time to waste."
